Janan Morgul is Vice President, Global Music & Entertainment Sponsorships & Experiential Marketing at American Express where she leads the company’s global strategy for brand partnerships and experiences across music and entertainment. In this role she spearheads innovative partnerships with artists and entertainment partners, including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Tyler the Creator, and AEG. She also oversees festival and theater experiences, including at festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach, strengthening Amex’s position as a cultural connector that bridges fans, artists, and experiences worldwide. Janan has strengthened American Express position as one of the most influential brands shaping the global music landscape. Under her leadership, she has reimagined what Amex Membership means for music lovers, expanding global partnerships, pioneering digital discovery, and creating unforgettable live experiences. Through Janan’s relationships, Amex has forged industry-defining partnerships with the world’s leading music artists, co-creating experiences that harness the connective power of music and resonate with the American Express brand and its customers. Janan has also spearheaded one-of-a-kind music content, like the Amex series “Story of My Song,” that brings Card Members closer to their favorite artists and their creative writing process for their top hits. Prior to American Express, Janan worked at Wasserman where she advised on strategy across client music and ticketing partnerships. She began her career at Madison Square Garden, supporting business development on partnerships for the venues, Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and the venue’s concert series. Janan holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University.
