As a proud member of the Chicago music community for over 15 years, Kelly Deasy has honed her passion for live music into a career that has activated every angle of her curiosity in the music industry dedicated in discovering how to support and amplify artists. Rooted in a consistent thread that always seems to point back to the live show experience, she has spent time in a range of areas covering music programming, live event production, tour coordinating and booking, and artist management. After putting time in to learn skills in touring strategy, international booking and artist development working at renowned agencies like Monterey International, The Windish Agency and Paradigm Talent Agency, she felt a pull to explore the entrepreneurial side of her nature. In January 2020 she co-founded outer/most, an independent booking agency with a roster of 95+ artists and counting from all over the world where she currently works as a partner and agent representing artists like Christian McBride, Anoushka Shankar and Rhiannon Giddens, while also heading up the agency’s tour marketing initiatives. Also, as an artist manager, she represents multi-hyphenate artist Pauli Lovejoy who is an accomplished drummer/producer/composer in addition to music director for artists like Florence & The Machine and Harry Styles. She has remained committed to growing a global team and artist roster while deeply connected to Chicago and enthusiastic about ushering in the next generation of music business leaders in the city and beyond. She was recently included in NewCity’s Music 45 list in 2025, Chicago Reader’s “Chicagoan’s of Note” series, and is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s Music Business program.
