Nick Chavez is a Festival Producer at Danny Wimmer Presents, where he has spent the past five years collaborating in producing large-scale, high-impact music festivals. With about eight years of experience in live event production, Nick plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of DWP’s flagship events, including Welcome to Rockville, Inkcarceration, Bourbon & Beyond, and Louder Than Life; all of which welcome anywhere from 90,000 – 200,000+ attendees per weekend. Nick specializes in developing asset advance programs, leading cross-functional teams, managing multi-tiered staffing structures, and designing comprehensive festival layouts across both interior and exterior environments. Known for his operational precision and strategic oversight, he ensures that foundational systems are thoughtfully built, production schedules are meticulously executed, and every element aligns to deliver a seamless festival experience. Before landing his role at Danny Wimmer Presents, he began his career as an experiential intern with Walter Productions before advancing into contract roles with major industry leaders, including Insomniac and Goldenvoice. Through these experiences, Nick developed a comprehensive understanding of large-scale event production, gaining hands-on expertise across departments and operational disciplines. As a growing industry leader, Nick is passionate about mentorship and expanding access within the live events space. He is particularly committed to supporting emerging professionals from Latinx and LGBTQIA+ communities, believing that stronger representation fosters more innovative, inclusive, and dynamic experiences for both teams and audiences alike.
